Sensitivity

One of the most useful outcomes of internal work is staying safe on the road. Those that have worked extensively with astral energy will feel a bump in the energy when another driver is about to do something stupid and take steps to avoid it. It’s not foolproof, like manifestation it is probability enhancement, bad luck can still win.

To add another caveat to the mix, manifestation can produce the opposite effect. One of our students was recently talking about how he had been daydreaming about a tax rebate, only to get a letter to say he owed more tax. Sending energy out to do work is like having a dog on an extendable lead, you can’t just release it and let it go, some ongoing control is required based on its interactions. We don’t subscribe to the set it and forget it school of manifestation. Not only is it hard to keep it out of your mind, but like the dog, it may need ongoing guidance to stay under control. If you want help in mitigating this opposite effect phenomenon, head to the store to book a consultation.

As well as sensitivity to energy, internal practice will supercharge your physical sensitivity. Don’t take sensitivity to just refer to a passive mechanism, it is a type of power that can also be thrown.

Sometimes even as a successful practitioner there is room for doubt about the system or yourself. And despite being tough physically and mentally, dealing with a*******s online and in person can exacerbate this doubt. It was timely this morning that when walking through the kitchen I stepped on a woodlouse, and due to the sensitivity in my feet (despite nerve damage from an unwanted medical intervention in 2021) and trained balance enabling me to adjust my step, no harm was done. It may seem trivial but this happens regularly and even happens wearing shoes. It reminds me of the children’s fairy tale ‘The Princess and the Pea’. Though at my age the only pea I experience in the night has two E’s. Maybe more kegels needed!

This physical and energetic sensitivity resulting from our practices may not be the most flashy expression of the arts, but what could be more important than preserving your life and that of other species. Train well!
